Dow Building Cleaners is a noted janitorial supplier of quality service cleaning over two million square feet in the Ottawa area.

 

Over the years, Dow has been involved in a broad range of services but is generally known for specializing in Kanata's high tech sector. Dow began providing semiconductor lab cleaning as early as 1985 and continued to do so for many years, including class 100 labs at Mitel Corporation and class 10 labs in Northern Telecom. We provided related training for Nordion, Siltronics, Spar Aeorspace and Leigh Intrusments.

 

In 1987 Dow established Canada Clean Room as a subsidiary company. CCR provided equipment and supplies on a national basis to the semiconductor industry. Sold in 1993, Canada Clean Room continues to be a national leader for clean room supplies, clean room laundry services, ESD supplies and measuring instruments.

 

Dow operated it's subsidiary carpet and upholstery cleaning company for many years before selling to a competitor. Dow's wholly owned subsidiary specializing in fire, smoke and flood repair was well known in the area, operating before today's modern disaster repair franchises had been imported to Canada. This company, including it's two dry cleaning stores were later sold.

 

Dow is first and foremost a janitorial company. Our concentration has always been directed toward the janitorial business as our primary business and market for the future. We are currently cleaning prime commercial and office projects in the Ottawa area and very much look forward to quoting new projects.
